Keeper's Cottage near Mawnan

Sleeping up to 4 people, this non-smoking property is located within the grounds of the owner’s residence near Port Navas creek.

Only a short stroll from the truly picturesque Trenarth Bridge, this particular holiday property is certainly well off the beaten track (although the thriving villages of Mawnan Smith and Constantine are both only a couple of miles away in either direction).

Offering two bedrooms (one double and one twin), Keeper’s Cottage sits amid 9 acres of gardens overlooking Bosanath Valley. It also features a woodburning stove in the living room, ideal for those choosing to stay during the cooler times of the year.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome (see Cottages4You for more information), providing the owners are diligent pooper-scoopers. Indeed, this part of Cornwall is particularly good for those bringing their dogs on holiday, with four-legged-friends accepted on most of the coves in the immediate area - only Helford Passage beach and Maenporth enforce a ban during the summer months. Moreover, the Red Lion Inn at Mawnan Smith is renowned as one of the most dog friendly pubs in Cornwall.

Those seeking to eat out in the local area will find plenty to choose from without having to travel too far; nearby Mawnan has an Italian restaurant in addition to its thatched pub.
