Mudgeon Vean Cottages, near Helford

There are three holiday cottages to be found at the 18th century farm of Mudgeon Vean, including Badger Cottage which forms part of the Grade-II listed farmhouse itself.

Swallow Cottage and Swift Cottage were both created from an old barn and milking parlour and are very similar in appearance. Both have two bedrooms (a double and a bunk room). Similarly, the aforementioned Badger Cottage also has two bedrooms.

The properties benefit from a truly rural location, set as they are on a small working farm. Furthermore, all have access to a private woodland walk and National Trust pathway down to the upper reaches of the Helford River.

The nearest village is St Martin in Meneage, while Helford, Manaccan, Mawgan and Gweek are all nearby, too. The market town of Helston is also just a short drive away.

Indeed, the holiday lets are in a great position for those seeking to explore both the Helford River and the Lizard Peninsula. Coastal villages such as Cadgwith and Coverack are within easy reach, while famous beaches such as Kynance Cove make for a great family day out.

Mudgeon Vean also has its own enclosed children’s play area (adult supervision required).
