Sleeps up to 6. Dogs welcome.
The English Heritage description for this pretty Grade II listed building says that Rose Cottage “has been virtually unaltered since the C18 and is therefore a rare survival”. As such, it really is the sort of place that would suit those who like to step back in time a little on their travels.
Indeed, the village of Manaccan contains an extremely large number of listed buildings for its size, not least the exquisite Church of St Manacca which dates, in parts, to the 12th century.
The property has three bedrooms in all (one of which is a twin) and as such would suit larger families or a group of friends. One well behaved dog is also very welcome for a small supplementary charge. Moreover, this is the sort of place that’s welcoming at any time of the year – a large inglenook fireplace complete with woodburning stove ensures that Rose Cottage is a cosy home-from-home in every season.
